We offer three main pathways, depending on the level of customisation and fit you are looking for.

Made to Order & Made to Measure

-This pathway is based on existing Mia Atelier designs and is where most of our brides begin.

Made to Order (Tier I)

-Your gown is produced to the closest standard size, with fittings used to refine the fit and proportions.

-Lead time: approximately 6–8 months

Made to Measure (Tier II)

-Your gown is cut to your individual measurements and proportions, offering a more precise fit.

-This pathway also allows for considered personalisation, such as fabric changes or subtle design refinements.

-All customisations are designer-led, meaning not all adjustments are possible, and each change is guided to ensure the design remains balanced and resolved.

-During your appointment, you will try on existing styles, and our professional stylist will guide you through silhouettes, fabrics and suitable modifications.

-Made to Measure is typically an additional 15% on the base gown price.

-Lead time: approximately 8–10 months

Both options maintain the integrity of the original design, with the difference being the level of precision and flexibility.

Pricing typically ranges between:$2,000 – $8,000with most gowns sitting between $4,000 – $7,000

Bespoke(Tier III)

-Our bespoke service is a fully custom design process developed with Mia.

This includes:

• initial design direction and sketch development

• fabric sourcing and selection• toile or mock-up stage

• multiple fittings and refinements

• final construction and finishing

Due to the level of detail involved, we take on a limited number of bespoke commissions each year.

Our bespoke capacity for 2026 is now fully booked.We are currently accepting enquiries for weddings in 2027 and beyond only.

-Bespoke gowns typically begin from $10,000+.

-Lead time: approximately 12 months or longer

All projects begin with a showroom appointment.

Our studio is based in Fitzroy, just off Gertrude Street in Melbourne, and is designed to feel more like a fashion studio than a traditional bridal boutique.

During your appointment, you will:

• try on selected pieces from the collection
• explore silhouettes and proportions
• discuss personalisation or customisation
• determine the most suitable pathway for your gown

Appointments run for approximately 60 minutes, and our space can comfortably host up to four guests.

What to Bring

-There is no need to prepare anything specific for your first appointment.

-We recommend simply coming as you are comfortable.
-No shoes or special garments are required — we will guide you through the fitting process and styling during your visit.

Our process is structured but considered, allowing decisions to evolve gradually rather than all at once.

Made to Order / Made to Measure

Bespoke

design direction → sketches → fabric selection → toile → fittings → refinement → completion

Each stage builds on the previous one, ensuring the final piece feels resolved and intentional.

We regularly work with interstate and international brides.

For these clients, the process is adapted slightly:

• you will be guided through providing your measurements
• fittings may be done remotely where possible
• communication is handled via email or video calls

Completed gowns are shipped via DHL Express.

Made to Order and Made to Measure are generally the most suitable options for remote clients, while Bespoke typically requires some in-person fittings.

Additional Notes

Fabric & Colour

While many gowns are available in ivory tones, we also work with a broader palette including colors, soft neutrals, metallics, and custom fabrications.

Shorter timelines may be possible depending on studio capacity and fabric availability. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Tier I — Made to Order
Production time is approximately 6–8 months, including fittings to refine the final fit.

Tier III — Bespoke
Production time is approximately 12 months or longer, depending on the complexity of the design.
